Not sure. Did not see a space for a band last time I was there 4 months ago.
So sorry, but no. Though the front opens up like a garage door and those few window seats are fresh and breezy.
Great cocktails good atmosphere. The food I'd amazing prime rib burger for the win.
Atmosphere, service, quality on point. 5 pointy symbols.
I came to the Comrade for the first time last night. It's a cozy, dimly lit cocktail that serves food pretty late too (1am on Friday). Burgers, tartare and some tapas style items. The service was very warm and attentive. I liked it. Good for a date night for sure. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the East end of Toronto!
Dark and full of atmosphere. The cocktails are fun and the staff really knows their stuff.
Amazing ambiance, great cocktails and one of the best burgers in town(if not the best). Must try before die :)
Excellent place with the freshest made fast food items at reasonable prices, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly and professional staff and prompt and punctual service.
Great burgers. Bar is too dimly lit especially in the washrooms.
Excelent ambiance. Respectful staff. The burger is soooo good.
Great cocktails / happy hour. Service is always attentive and friendly. But the main thing to love about this place is the atmosphere. The lighting and decor is super interesting. You really get a soothing, warm and inviting feel about the place. It reminds me of a bar that two spies out of a 1960's novel might meet in. Great place to bring a date or a group of friends.
Showed up looking for a seat as a group of 3. Turned us away when an empty 6 person table was available hoping that a larger group would fill it. We even offered to share with the two person group behind us that was amicable but their hard management policy wouldn’t allow such a situation. Poor service.
Best cocktail bar east of the DVP, and definitely one of my favs in all of Toronto.
The burger was the best in a while! So so good and perfect! The meat and the sauce just perfect!
One of my favorite pubs in Leslieville if not Toronto. Great ambiance! Great atmosphere and the bone marrow is too delicious for words! Great selection of beers and cocktails with very unique taste profiles. The burgers are delicious and always made on point!
Fantastic drink selection and great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast.
Ambiance is great. The decor is neat. The background music is a little odd but the staff is very friendly. Love this spot.
Such a cool vibe, excellent atmosphere, fantastic creative drinks, and amazing food. Really the whole package! Lots of animals on the walls though, I have no problem with it but if you bring vegans here....watch out.
This place is really cool inside m tv get have drink specials after work, where I ordered a delicious old fashion. We shared a bunch of food, which was all delicious, but the burger is what blew me away. It was soft and delicious. Probably one of the best burgers I've had in this city, a hidden secret! Small quaint place, but worth coming to and trying out!
Great spot for cocktails. Super nice staff. Great atmosphere.
One of the most underrated cocktail bars in the whole city. Always have interesting stuff going on and don't sleep on that burger. Sooooooo good.
Excellent drinks (creative cocktails!), awesome ambiance and vibe (though take note it's very dark, accentuated by candles). I've eaten here only once but had drinks with friends a few times. The food was good in my recollection but I should try more of the menu to give a more complete view of it. Overall I highly recommend The Comrade for a killer hangout or date!
Best burger in the city and lovely staff. They are doing a great job post Covid-19 and their new front street side patio is fantastic!
Amazing vibe with the best burgers in town!
Cocktails are prime, and snack menu great. Love the decor and vibe here, very lively every time I’m here. Staff also super friendly.
One of the best burgers in town! They also serve great cocktails.
Great food. Good cocktails. Foh left out to dry. Really needed another person because service took too long. But the server was killing it regardless. Otherwise great experience.
The burger is great. But only the burger. Burned bitter bread has been served with other dishes and it is difficult to figure out what your are eating since it is very dark inside. Beware that the burger will only come as a burger with some pickles n cheese inside, with no sides, no vegetables. Will not go back.
Cool place very laid back vibe..I would go every week If I lived in the area..its worth checking out ..good atmosphere
Good friendly service. Just wish it wasn't so dark so you can see the food a bit better
The atmosphere isn't bad and the drinks are good. Whatever you do, do not get food here! I honestly don't know what I paid for. $14 for 4 shrimp. $14 for 2 peices of bread some warm cherry tomatoes and a teaspoon of ricotta. And that was an appetizer and a main course, I was starving. If you're going here for something other than a drink don't waste your time.
Cute spot. Dark and romantic. Great for a 2nd date.
I have been there several times just because it was a convenient location and my friend like their food. Food is fine but I did not like their server. Big guy with a smirk on his face and kind of sarcastic. I stopped going there but I hope the server changed his attitude.
Amazing cocktails and my server Sarah anticipated everything I needed.
I loved the ambiance of this unique little pub\restaurant. The cocktails were inventive and I only had the burger but liked how it was presented and it was good.
Food is a bit pricey, but definitely delicious!
The bone marrow dish was absolutely fantastic! Service was great, and quite unique menu items. Definitely coming back. 5:30-7:00pm is $5 pints and 1/2 price Oysters!UPDATE: I've since been back three times. Tried almost everything on their menu and every dish was phenomenal. The prime rib burger is out of this world, no joke!
I did a personal burger tour of Toronto and The Comrade’s burger is in the top three in the city for me. I have had it a couple of times and every time it’s the experience. One of my favorite places.
Good vibes. Little loud but stillngood place for conversation. Hip spot. Nice cocktail and natural wines list. Service was great. Not a food review though as i havent gotten the chance yet.
Food we very tasty and well made. The croquettes were maybe the best I've ever eaten, the beef tartare was extremely well balanced between the meat and other flavours. The tuna tostadas were amazing!! Service was perfect, vibe was really nice, not too loud... but quirky fun... will be back!
Really awesome burger, not the best service experience. Very dark ambiance really nice for a date night.
My fave. My spouse and I used to date here all the time and it inspired our gothic wedding. The cuisine is TO DIE FOR. The cocktails are exquisite, the service above and beyond. Moody, gothic, atmospheric, delicious.
Nice drinks
It never disappoints. Great drinks and awesome food.
Amazing cocktails. They make a perfect classic martini.
Love The Comrade! Best bourbon sours in the city. Staff is amazing and friendly af. We live in the hood and this is our fav cozy bar spot. Not super noisy, good tasting plates, great cocktails... as long as your not a vegan, great atmosphere! Keep it up guys, we love ya!
The kind of place where you can sit and enjoy a drink by yourself while reading or watching the world go by. Excellent cocktails and great atmosphere.
Awesome, chill and relaxed vibe. Perfect bar lighting and ambiance. Music was the right volume. You can actually talk to each other. Drinks were fantastic. The white Negroni especially 👌 great spot to spend a couple hours at a bar with a couple friends.
That hits the spotTruly diggin' the decor, the vibe, the super-sociable staff...the food, the drinks and the sweet music playlist. This will be my go to for an experience. (For a more cozy/intimate take, try Goods and Provisions, a couple minutes drive east - they're who lead me to the Comrade)
Went here for a quick bite and a few drinks before seeing a concert at the opera house. I looove the vibe. It wasn't overly hipster, nor was it too pretentious. The food was good. We shared a few smaller dishes including smoked trout croquettes, which were out of this world. Decor is taxidermy heavy, but not in an off putting way. I would go back.
Pretty cool place! You have to like darkness though. Great cocktails.
I dont care about food if the hospitality so poor
